Music by Robert Sibbing

ROBERT SIBBING was born in 1929 in Illinois.  He earned B.M. and M.A. degrees from University of Iowa and an Ed.D. from University of Illinois, studying composition with Hunter Johnson, Robert Kelly, Phillip Bezanson, Richard Hervig, Tom Turner, and Phillip Greeley Clapp.

A performer as well as a composer, Sibbing is Professor Emeritus in saxophone at Western Illinois University, and a clarinetist in the Knox-Galesburg Symphony.
