GERALD LLOYD
was born in Ohio in 1938; he received both a BM in Piano and MM in
composition from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a
Ph.D. from the Eastman School of Music. His teachers included
Bernard Rogers, Scott Huston, and Jeno von Takacs.
Dr. Lloyd has taught at Cincinnati College-Conservatory, the Eastman School of Music, Western Michigan University, Capital University (Columbus OH), and Ohio University, and he is now a professor at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell where he has served as Dean and now teaches composition, music theory, and music literature. |
