ALBERT GOWER was born in 1935 in California. He received a BA from California State University at Sacramento, and an MM from University of Oregon. He received a Ph.D. in composition from North Texas State University in 1968. His principal teachers were Samuel Adler and George F. McKay. Dr. Gower served on the faculty of University of Southern Mississippi for 28 years and is Professor Emeritus. |
